The Universal Martial Arts
Hall of Fame has four basic objectives:
Recognize and reward those who make significant
contributions to the martial arts.
Establish professional standards for
achievements in the martial arts.
Promote interest in the martial arts; and to
support charitable causes.
Enrich and empower the youth of our nation.
Martial arts training is
especially valuable to youth in their formative
years. The Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame
organization has developed several training programs
for young participants. Special programs provides
free instruction and equipment for underprivileged
youths that are interested in the martial arts. It
is our desire that every young American has an
opportunity to share in the rewarding experience of
martial arts training. We believe it is the best
alternative to drugs and gangs because it allows a
youth to share a strong sense of community, learn
positive character traits, and experience the joy of
personal achievement based on hard work, discipline,
and determination. In addition, The Universal
Martial Arts Hall of Fame supports a number of
charities which provide needed goods and services to
those who can not provide for themselves
