I
started my Martial Arts career under the tutelage of
Mr. David Yeaman's in 1963 in Galveston, Texas in
association with Mr. Richard Sapp of Houston, Texas

Yeaman's would go further in life to become the
Texas State Representative of the "United States
Karate Association" as a Go-Dan. Mr. Yeaman's still
lives in Galveston, Texas.
Myself, (Daryl K. Stewart) at a young age became
very active in Karate. I would later find out karate
and the martial arts would become a major part of my
life through the years ahead.
I fought in the United States Karate Championship,
hosted by Robert Moore, in Huntsville, Texas in
1966.
As a
young up and coming fighter, and practitioner of the
martial arts, I fought and won in various regional
and state tournaments I was promoted to 1st degree

guidance of my instructors, Mr. David Yeaman's and
Grand Master Kim-Soo of Houston, Texas. As a black
