Grand Master Benjamin DeLeon is the
third oldest of 13 children. He was
on the road to serious trouble when
he was introduced to the martial
arts in 1964 and his instructor Norm
Miller, who was the Judo/JuJitsu
teacher at the local Boys Club. He
continued to use his strong
determination in high school, where
he was selected for the
All-Conference Football team his
Junior and Senior years as well as
All-State Honors. He also competed
in wrestling, in which he was a
conference runner-up, Regional
champion, and state place winner. He
also entered many tournaments in
Judo, JuJitsu, Tae Kwon Do and
Karate. He has achieved much success
and personal gain. He is the US
JuJitsu Federation National Team
Coach (2002-04). He is a life member
of numerous Associations and
Federations. He is a US JuJitsu
Mixed Duo National Champion, North
American Continental Championships
Silver Medalist-Mixed Duo, and
Canadian Challenge Cup Silver
Medalist –Mixed Duo. He is also a
professional Kickboxer, Wrestler,
Football Player, a licensed
investigator, Milwaukee County
Correctional Officer, Juvenile
Placement Center Officer & Halfway
House Supervisor and a professional
bodyguard for top entertainers/rock
groups. He was inducted into the
Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame
as Renshi of the Year-JuJitsu in
2003. He holds the following ranks:
7th Dan – Chang Moo Kwan
7th Dan – US JuJitsu
7th Dan with Master License in Taiho
JuJutsu
6th Dan – Sung Ja Do
6th Dan – Karate Do
5th Dan – USMA Judo
3rd Dan – USJA Judo
