Grand
Master Jack Searcy has been a
student and a professional in the
martial arts for over 47 years. He
and his school are internationally
recognized and he is known as a
person who is fair with high morals,
not only as a teacher, but as a
judge, referee or arbitrator for
many events. He has studied a
variety of martial arts in his
lifetime. He holds the rank of 10th
Degree Black Belt in SAK (Searcy’s
American Kenpo), ADK (American
Dragon Karate), Karate Kabudo
Federation and Kamishin Kai
International. He has been a
personal trainer, bodyguard,
professional security advisor,
motivational speaker, and police
tactics instructors. He was also an
instructor to professional athletes,
pro athletic teams, military
personnel and police forces. He is
head instructor and owner operator
of Searcy’s Kick, Inc. Martial Arts
Training Center. His Kick, Inc. is
home of World Champion Team Kick, a
martial arts demo team that not only
competes in Sport Karate but
performs for national and
international audiences for
corporations and television with an
array of motivational extreme
martial arts exhibitions and shows.
Kick, Inc. is also the home of 9
world champions plus 34 state and
national titlists all of which have
superior academic achievements. He
has publications and articles
featured in many newletters,
magazines, sports papers, and who’s
who. He is on the Executive Board of
Directors for the Universal Martial
Arts Hall of Fame. He received Most
Outstanding School of the Year-State
of Florida from the Florida League
of Martial Arts. In 2001 he was Halo
Aura Pioneer of Martial Arts,
received an Appreciation Award for
Pinellas County Schools of
Florida-Partners in Education, and
inducted into the Universal Martial
Arts Hall of Fame-School of the
Year. He received Soke of the Year (Wa
No Michi Ryu Karate Kabudo), Grand
Master of the Year & Grand Award of
Honor (Wa No Michi Ryu), inducted
into the Universal Martial Arts Hall
of Fame-School of the Year and
received an Appreciation Award for
Pinellas County Schools of
Florida-Partners in Education in
2002. In 2003 he once again received
an Appreciation Award for Pinellas
County Schools of Florida-Partners
in Education, and inducted into the
Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame
as Grand Master of the Year-Kenpo.
