Nominees who meet stringent standards are considered and must pass a rigorous, comprehensive evaluation by our Board of Directors to be approved for induction into this institution.

If you believe that your nominee deserves induction into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame please use Nomination Ballot to submit your nomination.

Induction is based on the following criteria:

  • Years of Study

  • Ability and proficiency

  • Dedication as an Instructor

  • Contributions to the Arts

Once ballots are received, nominees are notified by letter or e-mail and the selection process is initiated. If you are selected by the board for induction, you will be notified at a later date. The Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame induction ceremony is a formal event. Inductees are encouraged to invite family, friends, and students to attend. Please note that spectators at the training camp will not be allow to videotape unless the President grants prior permission. The reason for this is that a certain amount can be learned just by watching and even more if it is video taped for future review. That is not fair to all those who neither paid for the training nor is it fair to the instructors who may not wish to be video taped.
