Professor Daniel Torres is a
martial arts expert with over 30 years of training
in JuJitsu and work for the State of Florida Boxing
Commission as a Professional Mixed Martial Arts &
Boxing Judge. He is a certified NRA Pistol
Instructor with office and private school in
Orlando, Fl. He has appeared in Action Martial Arts
Collector Cards (1998, 1999, 2000). He was inducted
into the Black Belt Hall of Fame by the American
Federation of Martial Arts, World Karate Union,
World Professional Karate Organization and United
International Kung Fu Federation with the Silver
Life Achievement Award. In 2000 he was inducted by
the World Head of Family Sokeship Council with the
Founder Award. He received Grand Master of the Year
in 2001. He was inducted into the Cosmopolitan
Florida Hall of Fame Martial Arts Brotherhood as
Master Instructor of the Year 2000, with the Founder
Award 2001, and the Silver Life Achievement Award
2002. In 2000 he was also inducted into the Martial
Arts Magazine Hall of Fame as Grand Master of the
Year. He was inducted into the Universal Martial
Arts Hall of Fame as Martial Artist of the Year –
Judo in 2003. He is a senior student of Grand Master
Jose A. Velez and the late Supreme Grand Master
Professor Florendo M. Visitacion (Prof. Vee) in the
Vee Jitsu System. He is a life member of the Martial
Arts Grand Masters International Council (MAGIC) and
the United States Judo Association. He is a member
of the American Judo & JuJitsu Federation and the
International Federation of JuJutsuans. He is a
certified judge/referee by the All American Tae Kwon
Do/Karate/Kung Fu Judge & Referees Commission. He
developed The DanTor Ryu JuJitsu, School of Modern
Vee Jitsu JuJitsu System, Inc. He is the State
Representative for Florida for the Universal Martial
Arts Hall of Fame. He holds the rank of 8th Dan.
